FAQ
Q: There are many dental photography classes. What makes you different?
A: Yes, you are in fact correct. Many of the courses
are in a very large classroom type setting. Lectures are given in the morning
and then a hands on is implemented towards the end. Our classroom is your office;
the students are you and your staff. That’s it. The day is devoted to
individualized and very personalized attention. In addition Dr. Ghim is a dentist
and has over 20 years of photography experience.
Q: Can you cover all the essentials in one day?
A: Yes! One day is usually sufficient to cover
most facets to have you very confident with your photo taking. Since this
is a one-to-one session, more topics can actually be covered and in greater
detail, leaving the student sufficiently more confident.
Q:
I don’t have a camera. I don’t know what I’m doing. Actually,
I’m intimidated.
A: Many of our clients feel the same as you. This
is why the pre-consultation telephone interview is so critical. We would like
to get to know you as a person and then tailor the learning experience just
for you and your staff. All clients should have their own SLR setup for the
class. If you don't have or don't understand what to buy we can recommend
several camera setups and where to buy.
Q:
I already take photos in my office and I think I'm good. Can I learn anything else?
A: We feel that dentistry involves endless learning.
If you can take away one extra pearl from an esthetics lecture or learn another time saving clinical tip, would you? Since dentists are at different photo taking levels we can determine yours. You may contact us to see if we can help push your SLR to the limits.
Remember PGA Golf Pros still have coaches.
Q:
Can my technician take this course with me?
A: Yes! We would actually recommend that you do. There is no better way to build better relationships for lab communication.
